Indonesia's Covid-19 Task Force Team issued new travel requirements stipulated in Addendum Surat Edaran No. 17 and No. 18, 2021. The implemented requirements, effective 11 August 2021, are as follows:
Prior to entering Indonesia:
- WNI (Indonesian):
- Valid Indonesian Passport.
- Hardcopy or digital certificate of full vaccination.
- For Indonesians who have not been vaccinated, vaccination will be facilitated after completing quarantine with negative PCR result.
- Valid PCR test showing negative result, maximum 3x24 hours prior to departure.
- Completed e-HAC form.
- WNA (Foreigner):
- Valid Passport.
- Hardcopy or digital certificate of full vaccination. For foreigner who have not been vaccinated, vaccination will be facilitated after completing quarantine with negative PCR result.
- Valid KITAS/KITAP.
- Valid PCR test showing negative result, maximum 3x24 hours prior to departure.
- Completed e-HAC form.
- Completed form stating willingness to be quarantined and to bear any additional healthcare cost.
- The quarantine period is 8 days and 7 nights.
- Indonesians and foreigners will undergo 2 RT PCR tests on the 2nd and 7th day of quarantine.
- If PCR test is shown positive, mentioned foreigner will be taken to the hospital. Healthcare cost will be borne by the foreigner or the sponsor. For Indonesians, the healthcare cost will be borne by the government.
- Foreigners holding a diplomatic visa or working visa at the ministerial level, do not need to show proof of full vaccination. They can enter Indonesia under a Travel Corridor Arrangement scheme, with strict compliance to health protocol. They are required to do self-quarantine for 8 days after arrival.
