Starting 9 April 2021, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport had implemented GeNose corona virus breathalyzer test for domestic passengers. GeNose Test provides air travelers with cheaper and faster options to meet Indonesia's Domestic Flight Requirement. Compared to Rapid Antigen Test, which costs around IDR 200K, each GeNose Covid-19 test costs only IDR 40K.
As the GeNose Covid-19 test applies nationally, passengers can use the GeNose Covid-19 test for inter-state arrival requirement. However, only four airports are ready to implement it for departure; namely Yogyakarta International Airport, Surabaya’s Juanda International Airport, Bandung’s Husein Sastranegara International Airport, and Palembang’s Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport.
